Abstract

Objective: To identify the main changes in liver function markers in patients sero reagent for hepatitis B in the Clinical Laboratory of PUC Goiás. Methods: This is a retrospective and analytical study in which data from patients sero reagent for hepatitis B in the Clinical Laboratory of PUC Goiás were used, analyzing test results from 2018 to 2022. Data were tabulated in Microsoft Office Excel 365 program and analyzed with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics. The study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee. Results: The results found converge to the lack of statistically significant relationship in the comparison between the clinical profile and gender/age of patients. In addition, the analyzed tests had a negative correlation when relating the serological tests with liver markers. Conclusion: It is concluded that although the literature indicates that there is an increase in transaminases in hepatitis B infection, this was not observed in the study population.
