Abstract

Objective: To characterize the profile, trend and seasonality of pre-hospital care and deaths in the Health Regions of the Intermunicipal Health Consortium of the Macroregion of Southern Minas Gerais (CISSUL), between 2015 and 2019. Methods: This is an exploratory-descriptive and time series study conducted with secondary data from 308,387 mobile emergency care provided by CISSUL teams. Data were collected from the CISSUL Digital Information System and analyzed descriptively in terms of absolute and relative frequency of variables, and in terms of trends and seasonality using linear regression. Results: The majority of consultations were for males, aged > 60 years, and clinical profile. There was a trend towards an increase in attendances for all Regions and a slight increase in deaths in the Regions of Passos, Pouso Alegre and Varginha. The Region of Pouso Alegre presented seasonality of deaths, with an increase in the months of May to August and October. Conclusion: The importance of the correlation between the regional disparities observed in pre-hospital care and the care offered at the primary level is highlighted, as a way of supporting action plans, redirecting and optimizing public resources.
