Abstract
Objective: Transmit information from the various forms of HPV infection, correlating its clinical manifestations based on the case report of a patient with plantar infection. Case report: MAF, 40 years, accompanied in Gynecology ambulatory due to genital and anal wart, complains of callosities in the feet for a long time, with pain at plantar pressure, with 5 years of evolution. At physical examination of genitalia, presented a single verrucous injury in the perianal region and vulvar verrucoid wound suggestive of HPV. In the feet it was evidenced the presence of multiple hyperkeratotic injuries disseminated prevailing on the left foot with nodulations subcutaneous on palpation. On suspicion of HPV induced injuries, Thuya 6CH was prescribed daily. In the return, patient had presented clinical improvement, being followed up. Final considerations: A wide range of clinical manifestations by the HPV virus is observed, unexplored due to the difficulty in finding images similar to those obtained in the case for comparison in the literature. The nonspecific clinical condition makes treatment difficult, prolonging the cycle of virus spread, impairing the patients.
