Abstract
Objective: To identify the social and institutional support network of adolescents residing in a host institution. Methods: Qualitative, descriptive and participatory study, carried out with 12 adolescents between 10 and 16 years old. Data production took place in August and September 2021, using the Creative and Sensitive Method with the Talking Map Creativity and Sensitivity Dynamics. The enunciations were submitted to Discourse Analysis in the French current. Results: The adolescents' social support network is made up of family members, friends, some professionals from the institution and social networks, while the institutional support network is made up of the shelter, the school, the health services and the projects developed by the institution. institution. Conclusion: The support network of institutionalized adolescents offers emotional, material, instrumental and informational support, with interpersonal and institutional relationships being valued, which highlights the need for professionals working in this scenario to be trained to meet, in addition to physical demands, also to the emotional ones.
