Abstract
Objective: To map the scientific production of men's knowledge about sexual and reproductive health. Methods: Systematic review of the bibliometric study type, for which the Methodi Ordinatio was adopted. Results: The profile of the productions maintains a language-related standard, with English prevailing. The journal with the highest number of publications was Reproductive Health Matters, with an impact factor of 5,732, and which publishes in the area of reproductive and sexual rights, mainly from the feminist perspective of the subject. With regard to the keywords, it was found that the two main ones were male and female, in the English language, followed by the words adolescent and adolescente, respectively, in English and Portuguese. Regarding the productivity of the authors, it was identified that a small number of authors, specifically five, are the holders of the largest number of publications on the subject, each of which published four articles. Final considerations: It was found that the bibliometric indicators remained in accordance with the theories and that the subject in question still faces challenges. It is inferred the need for reflections on how to restructure the current health model, in order to encourage greater male participation in issues of this nature.
