Abstract
Objective: To seek evidence on nursing care for individuals diagnosed with diabetic foot syndrome in primary health care. Methods: Integrative review whose focus was to answer the guiding question: what does the scientific evidence indicate about nursing care to individuals diagnosed with diabetic foot syndrome in primary health care? The study was conducted between May and June 2023, with a bibliographic survey performed on the PubMed, SciELO and VHL platforms, the LILACS, MEDLINE, BDENF, IBECS and CVSP-Brazil platforms. Results: We included 12 articles in the corpus of the study. Being one of the professional categories of greatest performance in primary care, nursing has as significant contributions for patients with diabetic foot syndrome the performance of the physical examination of the feet, elaboration of risk stratification and degree of classification, as well as care to avoid the emergence of possible injuries. Final Considerations: Nursing care is extremely relevant, because it promotes to the patient the knowledge necessary for him to be the protagonist of his own care, through pertinent information about the problem, which can be offered through consultation with the professional or in health education actions.
