Abstract

Objective: To identify the technologies used to measure chronic wounds. Methods: Integrative literature review that followed the recommendations of the PRISMA method. Articles were identified through searches in the Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences databases, Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online e Scientific Electronic Library Online, in which specific search strategies were used with terms in Portuguese and English. Results: 09 articles were included that showed technologies that are used to measure chronic wounds, namely: laser-assisted wound measurement device (reported by two articles), planimetry using the Planimator® application, digital planimetry associated with adaptive calibration, Tissue analytics®, Scout®, AutoCAD®, Image Tool®, MolecuLight i:X® and SFM-3DULC®. Conclusion: It was possible to identify different technologies to measure chronic wounds, showing variations in applicability and a broad approach that provides subsidies for application in clinical practice and research in this area.
