Abstract

Objective: Map studies in the scientific literature that present the health context within difficult-to-access villages. To construct the guiding question, the PICo strategy was used. The studies were selected in the databases: LILACS, PUBMED, SCOPUS, SCIELO, GOOGLE ACADÊMICO, BVS and SCIENCE DIRECT, in April 2023. As inclusion criteria, studies that corresponded to the theme and without temporal cut. As exclusion criteria, non-indigenous population, incomplete studies and those carried out in the hospital environment. Results: Initially, 440 articles were selected, after using the eligibility criteria, only a total of 38 articles were considered suitable for full reading, of which only 12 made up the final review. The selected studies were characterized in terms of title, research objective, year of publication, location, method, main findings and databases. Final considerations: With data from the literature, it can be observed that within health actions in villages that are difficult to access, there is a gap in the literature regarding immunization. Therefore, it is suggested that the topic be deepened in scientific research.
