Abstract

Objective: To analyze the alignment of the Cold Chain Supply Chain of the COVID-19 vaccination plan in Pará, in terms of national logistical operationalization. Literature review: The Supply Chain (SC) is a branch of logistics responsible for the movement and strategic supply of inputs and ensuring the best possible service conditions. The Cold Chain (RF) includes the stages of distribution, transport and handling of immunobiologicals, therefore it requires effective and fluid dynamics. After the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a need to restructure its CS effectively to guarantee the services provided by the health sector. Two categories of discussion then emerged: organization of logistical processes in Covid-19 vaccination and their operational alignment with the cold chain. Conclusion: Despite the alignment and compatibility between vaccination plans, the superficiality of the data regarding the cold chain and its supply chain is notable, with the need to favor a more structured and integrated logistics system.
