Abstract
Objective: To identify scientific evidence on educational actions aimed at nursing professionals and students about the process of death and dying. Methods: Integrative literature review carried out in October 2022 in the LILACS, BDENF, U.S. National Library of Medicine (PubMed/MEDLINE), Web of Science and Scopus databases, with no time frame. The search strategy was guided by the question: "what is the scientific evidence on educational actions aimed at nursing about the process of death and dying?", determined using the PICo strategy. Results: 13 studies were selected to make up the corpus of the review. With regard to the educational actions developed, the following stood out: workshops, courses, death education programs, the use of educational material in bundle format, elective courses, exhibitions of works of art, storytelling techniques and high-fidelity simulation. Final considerations: The study made it possible to identify scientific evidence about educational actions aimed at nursing professionals and academics addressing the context of death. The main strategies used were creative strategies, participatory methods and realistic simulations.
