Abstract
Objective: To describe back management procedures in patients who underwent neurosurgery. Literature review: The results of the study demonstrated that post-neurosurgery patients often present comorbidities, such as anxiety, depression and sleep disorders, which can affect pain perception and tolerance, and appropriate treatment of these comorbidities can improve pain control and the patient's quality of life. Furthermore, it was possible to observe that post-neurosurgery patients often present comorbidities, such as anxiety, depression and sleep disorders, which can affect pain perception and tolerance. Proper treatment of these comorbidities can improve pain control and the patient's quality of life. Final considerations: How to conclude, the relevance of providing adequate information to the patient about their condition, available treatments and recovery expectations is highlighted. Furthermore, emotional support and involvement from family or caregivers can help improve treatment adherence and pain management.
