Abstract

Objective: To analyze the epidemiological profile of women with a histopathological diagnosis of Endometrial Cancer (SC) followed at a Regional Hospital in the Federal District from January 1, 2019 to July 1, 2023. Methods: An observational, cross-sectional and descriptive study with retrospective data collection recorded in medical records. A total of 36 patients with histopathological diagnosis of FB treated from 01/01/2019 to 07/01/2023 were included. Results: It was observed that the most common risk factors for CS were advanced age, brown race, obesity, menopause and multiparity, that the most frequent lesions were stage I, classified as low risk and presenting an excellent prognosis, that the staging in our service was the earliest and that advanced stages had higher rates of adjuvant. Conclusion: Further studies emphasizing risk factors are necessary, since our data differed from the literature regarding race and multiparity. One analysis that can be made is in relation to miscegenation in the Brazilian territory, which may have been favorable for the findings. In addition, underdeveloped countries have increased rates of three or more pregnancies, questioning whether multiparity protects against CE.
