Abstract

Objective: To analyze the documentation published on the official websites of the Federal Nursing Council and the Regional Nursing Councils of Brazil on the use of Personal Protective Equipment in the pandemic context. Methods: This is an integrative review based on the guiding question “what are the main representative nursing institutions in Brazil sharing with professionals regarding the use of Personal Protective Equipment during the pandemic?” Results: After transcribing the content of the documents and submitting them to qualitative analysis software, the data was arranged in a dendrogram. Three textual classes were created to guide the discussion: “class 1 - general aspects about covid-19”, “class 2 - correct management and use of Personal Protective Equipment” and “class 3 - prevention actions for carrying out activities in health. Final considerations: The information provided in the documents analyzed has clear and accessible language. On the other hand, the websites consulted are complex to access and non-intuitive to use, which makes consultation difficult. As a facilitator, the use of illustrative images and explanatory video links enhances understanding.
