Abstract
Objective: To characterize the scientific production published from 2017-2022 that used Human Becoming Theory from Rosemarie Parse. Methods: Bibliometric review, searching the Cinahl and Scopus databases, from March to July 2022, with inclusion criteria: articles published between 2017 and 2022, available in full. Organization and evaluation were carried out using the Rayyan® reference manager, followed by thematic analysis (steps): Familiarization with the data, Initial coding, Grouping by themes, Review of themes, Naming of themes, Production of the review. Results: 18 articles emerged as corpus of analysis, highlighting the principles of the Theory of Human Becoming: Meaning, identified in 94.4% of articles, Rhythmicity and Transcendence present in 88.9% of publications. Final considerations: The Theory of Becoming Human is widely used in relation to nursing care, covering different contexts (care, outpatient clinic, teaching and research), playing a fundamental role in theoretical support for nursing practice.
