Abstract
Objective: Map and analyze strategies for combating violence against women assisted in health services. Methods: Scope review using specific eligibility criteria. The databases Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online were consulted via PubMed, Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde, PsycINFO, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, Scopus and Excerpta Medica Database and the Scientific Electronic Library Online. Search guided by the question: What are the strategies for combating violence against women in health services? Results: 49 studies were found, gruped of five empirical categories: empathetic care and establishing a bond with the woman; professional training, interdisciplinary discussions; referrals and interactions with other services and sectors; expanded and/or innovative actions; organizational practices to qualify service. Final considerations: The study showed the importance of the care provided by health services in combating violence against women. Given the complexity and scope of the problem, the strategies are multiple, varied and comprehensive, including individual and collective actions aimed specifically at the clientele served (women, families and communities) to organizational practices to qualify care aimed at improving care services, especially in Primary Health Care.
