Abstract

Objective: To analyze the perspectives of the multidisciplinary health team on the use of chatbot in the care of Pressure Injuries. Methods: Exploratory study with a qualitative approach, carried out in a public hospital in Pará, in the adult Intensive Care Units (ICUs). Results: During the application of the questionnaire, health professionals evaluated the chatbot's ability to provide accurate information to assist in the evaluation and management of pressure injuries. In this context, would the chatbot be able to assertively recognize the signs and symptoms of the injury, provide appropriate guidance for classification and treatment, and offer recommendations based on updated clinical guidelines? Conclusion: The construction of an educational technology for the evaluation of skin pressure injuries involves multiple challenges and opportunities. The results indicate that, although most professionals recognize the potential of technology to improve the detection and prevention of pressure injuries, some challenges were identified. The acceptance of the chatbot varied among the different professional categories, with nurses and physicians showing greater receptiveness compared to nutritionists and pharmacists.
