Abstract
Objective: To map and analyze national and international knowledge production on health education actions aimed at people affected by leprosy. Methods: This is a scoping review, carried out through an exploratory search in the databases, where the terms were found according to the PCC strategy, including the descriptor and alternative terms, as presented: Leprosy, Health Education, Educational Technology, Health Technology. Results: A total of 1,809 publications were found in the databases and gray literature; after the selection and eligibility stages, a total of 22 publications were included. The analysis of educational interventions for people affected by leprosy reveals a rich diversity of strategies and approaches that have been implemented in different contexts around the world. These studies provide insights into the effectiveness of these actions and highlight areas that still need development. Through this review, it is possible to understand that to address leprosy more effectively, it is essential to adopt a multifaceted approach that combines educational technologies, community interventions, and anti-stigma campaigns. Final considerations: Continuous innovation is essential to address emerging challenges and improve health education strategies for leprosy.
