Abstract
Objective: To identify, in the scientific literature, how prenatal nursing care is developed in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic in the Primary Health Care scenario. Methods: This is an integrative review of the literature, carried out in the Library databases Virtual Health (VHL), Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS) and Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) with a time frame from 2020 to 2023, through the crossing: “Nursing” AND “Pre-natal” AND “COVID-19”, in Portuguese, English and Spanish. Initially, 31 articles were obtained, which after being subjected to the inclusive and exclusive criteria remained in 06 final samples. Results: They indicate that prenatal care is relevant and necessary to monitor the development of the intrauterine fetus, contributing to the prevention of damage and injuries to pregnancies. It is noteworthy that during the Covid-19 pandemic, services underwent changes in the dynamics of care and routine in Basic Health, especially in prenatal consultations and exams, compromising the sequence of care for pregnant women and posing risks to the baby. Final considerations: Nursing care for pregnant women assisted by primary health care during the pandemic faced accessibility barriers. However, strategies and subsidies were established to face these compromising problems.
