Abstract

Objective: To consolidate scientific information on the perception of Primary Health Care teams regarding HPV vaccination through an integrative literature review. Methods: The research was conducted in databases such as MEDLINE, LILACS, and SciELO, using descriptors such as "perception," "Primary Health Care," "vaccination," "Papillomavirus vaccines," and "Papillomaviridae." Articles published between August 2015 and July 2024 that addressed the perception of Primary Health Care teams regarding HPV vaccination were included. Results: After screening 648 articles, 16 were included in the review. The analysis revealed geographical disparities in the distribution of research and highlighted five main categories of team members' perceptions, including the importance of information, communication barriers, and the need for continuous training. Final considerations: The review highlights the need for increased research investment in developing regions and emphasizes the importance of clear and adapted informational strategies to promote HPV vaccination within Primary Health Care.
