The target audience consisted of early childhood education teachers, data were collected through an identification questionnaire and the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ). The data were sent to spreadsheets in Microsoft Office Excel 2007 (Windows), being statistically analyzed. Results: The sample consisted of 32 participants, female and on average 42 years old. Regarding the level of physical activity, the majority were irregularly active, followed by very active, active and sedentary. Regarding working hours, the majority worked six hours a day. Among those who worked four hours a day, all were active, of those who worked six hours a day, most were active. Furthermore, of those who worked eight hours a day, the majority were irregularly active, with a higher percentage of sedentary people. Conclusion: Even when working eight hours a day, this does not greatly interfere with physical activity, as only 6% of teachers are characterized as sedentary.
