Abstract
Objective: To analyze the implications of endometriosis symptoms on women's quality of life and which areas of personal life are affected. Methods: This is an integrative literature review using secondary data involving the impacts that endometriosis causes on the lives of women diagnosed with the disease, with the aim of understanding the impacts on these women's lives. Results: A total of 11,258 studies were found. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 18 studies were selected for reading of titles and abstracts. After reading, 9 articles that did not address quality of life related to endometriosis were eliminated, totaling nine articles included in the research. Final considerations: Endometriosis compromises women's quality of life, affecting several areas, including physical and mental health. Symptoms vary, with intense pain such as dysmenorrhea and chronic pelvic pain. To improve quality of life, it is essential to speed up diagnosis and increase knowledge about the disease.
