Abstract
Objective: To correlate the results obtained by the Bayley Scale of Development III on the motor and language domains, and to identify aspects of the routine modified by the pandemic and the developmental outcomes of typical infants aged 18 to 24 months. Methods: Analytical cross-sectional study that evaluated neurotypical infants aged 18 to 24 months, born at term, using the Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development®-III. Results: Receptive communication (RC) showed a positive correlation with mothers fixed working hours, living with both parents, in relation to the mother is favorable, and with parents' interest in seeking out research to assess their children. However, it was negative with more "TV time". Expressive Communication (CE) was correlated with a higher family income and with "Searching for research". The Language variable (LGG=CR+CE) added positive with higher "Paternal Education" and with the infant had crawling (p = 0.040). In motor skills, the Fine Motor Scale (Mot F) correlated with a higher family income, while the Gross Motor Scale (Mot G) showed a negative with the number of people living in the same house and pregnancy stress on pandemic. Conclusion: Routines modified by the pandemic context correlate with child development markers, mainly concerning language.
