Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of online care for patients with ASD, analyzing the advantages and challenges of this format. Methods: Systematic review based on the PRISMA methodology, selecting studies that address online care for people with ASD, with references to the structure of search, screening, and analysis of results. Results: Findings indicated that online care is effective and accessible for families of people with ASD, with benefits such as flexibility, continuity of support, and cost reduction. Conclusion: Studies highlight some limitations as well as expected developments in this approach, pointing to it as an effective alternative to enhance engagement and treatment adherence. New studies may not only expand this topic but also provide new strategies to strengthen this care model, benefiting families and autistic patients.
