Abstract

Objective: To analyze the implementation and impacts of health technologies in the context of obstetric nursing, focusing on tools such as indicator panels, dashboards and software, aiming to identify their contributions to maternal and child care and the associated challenges. Methods: This is an integrative review of the literature that used articles published between 2020 and 2024. The databases MEDLINE, LILACS, SCOPUS, CINAHL and Web of Science were consulted, with specific keywords and Boolean operators. After excluding duplicates and applying eligibility criteria, 10 articles made up the final sample. Results: The selected studies highlighted the relevance of technologies such as software for staffing, ultrasound in nursing consultations and dashboards for hospital management. Such tools promoted greater efficiency in processes, care safety and humanization in obstetric care. However, barriers such as high costs, professional resistance and lack of infrastructure still compromise large-scale implementation. Final considerations: Technologies have great potential to transform obstetric practice, optimizing care results and strengthening professional autonomy, as long as structural and financial challenges are overcome.
