Abstract

Objective: Discuss the use of active methodology in monitoring human anatomy in the medical course. Experience report: Active methodologies are essentially used in the classroom, such as dialogued expository classes, in addition to active strategies such as the flipped classroom, discussions of clinical cases, seminars, dynamics and playful games to close the subject. Final considerations: The Human Anatomy subject is naturally stereotyped by many students as difficult, as it is totally new and rich in details. Monitoring, being a source of academic assistance for undergraduate students, adds to the monitor's curriculum and student learning. In this context, the importance of talking about the advantages of academic monitoring lies in the fact that they are not observed as clearly as other university activities. Therefore, it is essential to explore the benefits of this extracurricular activity for higher education and, consequently, make studies on the subject less scarce.
