Abstract
Objective: Analyze nursing intervention strategies during prenatal care aimed at promoting breastfeeding, based on scientific evidence. Methods: This is an integrative literature review conducted in the MEDLINE, LILACS, BDENF, IBECS, SciELO, Embase, CINAHL, and PubMed databases. The PICo strategy was used to develop the research question, and eligibility criteria were defined according to the UN 2030 Agenda. Two independent reviewers selected the studies with the support of Rayyan® software. Results: A total of 13 articles published between 2015 and 2025 were included, mostly international. The most effective nursing interventions involved educational actions such as workshops, group sessions, videos, digital platforms, and simulations. Maternal self-efficacy was the most common outcome associated with successful breastfeeding. Family involvement enhanced the effectiveness of the interventions. Final considerations: Nursing plays a central role in promoting breastfeeding during prenatal care. Methodological heterogeneity and lack of standardization were observed limitations.
