Abstract
Objective: To identify the different ways in which nurses act towards postpartum woman with baby blues. Methods: This is an integrative literature review study on the role of nursing towards postpartum women with babu blues. For the sampling and data collection stage, the databases used were Bdenf, Scientific Eletronic Library Scielo (SciELO), and Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), using the descriptores: nursing, birth, postpartum, depression, baby blues, postpartum women. The concepts and definitions of the authors studied were preserved, with due citation and reference. Results: The search in the Bdenf, SciELO and LILACS databases. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, resulted in only 8 articles, highlighting the different ways in whick nurses act towards postpartum women who present baby blues. Final considerations: The analysis of the reviewed studies show that despite the growing attention paid to mental health in the postpartum period, the lack of information and preparation of many nursing professionals in the recognition and adequate management of postpartum women with symptoms of baby blues and postpartum depression is still ecidewnt.
