Abstract

Objective: To describe the experience of raising awareness about Health Technology Assessment Centers (HTNs) in the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS), highlighting the technology assessment process and the standardization of hospital technical materials. Experience report: This experience report was developed in a leading public hospital in the North Region of Brazil, recognized for its work in maternal and child health and its commitment to quality and innovation in hospital management. Based on the identified need to qualify and expand the participation of the multidisciplinary team in the standardization processes of hospital technical materials, an awareness-raising and internal dissemination strategy was designed to strengthen the performance of the institution's Health Technology Assessment Center (HTNs). Final considerations: The combination of educational strategies, management technologies, and active institutional communication strengthens HTA centers at the hospital level, promoting evidence-based decisions, sustainability, and continuous improvement in the quality of care provided.
