Abstract

Objective: To analyze the scientific evidence on the impact of m-Health technologies on the identification of clinical risks and the reduction of maternal mortality. Methods: This is an integrative literature review conducted in the PubMed, Scielo and Middle Collection database. The search used controlled descriptors (DeCS/MeSH) and Boolean operators, limiting itself to original articles published in the last five years, in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. After screening 164 records and applying the inclusion criteria, the final sample consisted of 13 articles. Results: The findings demonstrate that the use of applications and telemonitoring optimizes the early identification of hypertensive syndromes and gestational diabetes. m-Health interventions reduce the three delays in care, improving adherence to prenatal care and postpartum surveillance, especially in geographically difficult-to-access regions. Final considerations: m-Health is a robust strategy for obstetric safety, although its implementation faces limitations related to digital literacy and connectivity. The study reinforces the need for technologies adapted to vulnerable scenarios.
