Abstract

Objective: To report the experience of implementing a playful health education activity in Primary Health Care, using the game “Liberating Bingo” to guide pregnant women, postpartum women, companions, and Community Health Workers on non-pharmacological methods for pain relief during childbirth. Experience report: Experience developed in November 2025 in three Family Health Strategy units. In-person meetings were held, with the application of an educational bingo focused on non-pharmacological methods for pain relief during childbirth. At the end, a brief questionnaire was applied to assess understanding, satisfaction, and perceptions regarding the applicability of the practices. The data were analyzed qualitatively. Limited or no prior knowledge on the topic was identified among participants, along with doubts and insecurities related to childbirth. The activity promoted the exchange of experiences, group engagement, and the strengthening of autonomy. The bingo proved to be a facilitating strategy for learning. Final considerations: “Liberating Bingo” proved to be an effective health education tool, contributing to the demystification of childbirth pain, the empowerment of pregnant women, and the qualification of obstetric care in Primary Health Care.
