Abstract
Objective: To report the experience of integrating technical visits and educational practices in the Infection Control Service, structured using the Scrumban methodology. Experience report: This experience report describes the integration process between technical visits and educational activities conducted by the Infection Control Service (ICS) in a private hospital in the Rio de Janeiro region, using the Scrumban methodology. The visits were structured based on a situational diagnostic analysis, followed by the creation of a Scrumban board for distributing pending tasks, defining responsibilities, and monitoring corrective actions. Educational activities took place in a dialogical manner in the real work environment, promoting co-responsibility and shared decision-making. Greater transparency in processes, a change in the perception of the ICS role, and a strengthening of the institutional safety culture were observed. Final considerations: The association between technical visits and educational practices structured by agile methodologies constitutes a powerful strategy to promote continuous improvement and organizational sustainability.
