Abstract

Objective: To report a twin pregnancy with one twin presenting complete hydatidiform mole and the other born by vaginal delivery. Case description: A patient presented with a twin pregnancy with a healthy fetus and a complete hydatidiform mole, diagnosed by ultrasound during prenatal care. The image showed a molar tissue with typical characteristics next to the viable fetus. The delivery was natural, resulting in the birth of a healthy baby. The molar tissue was expelled together with the placenta, and there were no significant complications during delivery. Final considerations: The management of cases of twin pregnancies with complete hydatidiform mole and a viable fetus requires constant surveillance and early diagnosis to improve outcomes. Additional research is needed to improve knowledge and increase the success rate in similar situations.
