Abstract
Objective: To identify in the literature technologies and strategies focused on the reception, prevention and treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and other Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) aimed at the population of Transvestite Women (TT), describing and comparing them as a purpose to discuss their impacts and promote effective evidence-based care measures. Methods: We used electronic databases (LILACS, SciELO, MEDLINE/PubMed), in English, Portuguese and Spanish languages, bibliographic form adapted from Ursi's form to respond to the modicity of the analyses. Results: The paper obtained a final sample of 10 articles, the trend was observed for educational actions aimed at changes in risk behaviors, referral for testing and linkage to treatment for HIV and other STIs, improved access to social and health services, changes in knowledge about HIV and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis(PrEP), social and emotional support. Final considerations: The works show an intervention profile based on support groups; empowerment and community participation in health practices, appropriation and development of applications, based on telehealth as a focus on the intrinsic needs of the public. The need for psychological support associated with prevention practices and greater training of health teams during the reception and treatment of this community is observed.
