Abstract
Objective: To analyze scientific evidence on nursing care for patients with diabetic foot in the primary health care. Methods: Integrative review guided by the PICo strategy, conducted in October 2025 in the LILACS, MEDLINE, and BDENF databases. Selection followed chronological criteria (2020-2025) and the PRISMA protocol, with data submitted to content analysis by categorization. Results: The final sample of 11 articles reveals that systematic clinical assessment, including monofilament sensitivity tests and footwear inspection and health education for self-care are crucial interventions. Educational technologies and digital tracking qualify care, although barriers such as lack of supplies, work overload, and the absence of standardized protocols still limit comprehensive care. Final considerations: The nurse is the central pillar in the prevention and surveillance of diabetic foot in PHC. It is necessary to strengthen professional autonomy and implement well-structured care flows to reduce complications and promote quality of life.
