Experience report: The project was carried out in a basic education school, being divided into two moments, in the first one a theater was staged adapting the classic play of the three little pigs, aiming to show correct forms of personal hygiene. The second stage of the project, consisted of an action in which the students soiled the children's hands and led them to wash their hands without supervision, then placed their hands in a dark box with black light to show if there were any dirt left. After that, the students were taken again to wash their hands, this time accompanied by medical students, who demonstrated the correct form. Final Considerations: Through the Health at School project, it was possible to use active methodologies as instruments of health education to teach the correct practice of personal hygiene habits.
