Abstract
The present work has as objective to recognize the imunologia of the aging, as well as its molecular aspects and adaptation mechanisms, thus a descriptive study of bibliographical revision by means of database of articles of scientific literature was carried through: Bireme, LILACS, SciELO, PubMed and MEDLINE. The sample constituted of 18 (eighteen) articles, amongst these, had been selected 6 (six) articles for basic theoretical recital (excellent group 1) and 4 (four) articles complementary theoretical recital (excellent group 2). 8 (eight) articles had only been discarded of the study (not excellent group) for the criterion “thematic relevance”. Ahead of the findings, one concludes that the immune system, constituted of cells and responsible molecules for the protection against the infectious illnesses, is a system of great importance for the organism, but in the senile age a suppression of the same occurs. However, they are essential practical and the well-taken care of one’s of health, as the adjusted feeding, as well as the practical one of physical exercises, among others, that they generate immunologic reinforcement for the individual.
