Abstract
Objective: To analyze, from the nurses' perspective, the objective and subjective aspects present in the risk assessment for the development of Pressure Injuries (LP) through the use of the Braden Scale (EB). Methods: This is a qualitative approach. The data were collected through an open questionnaire with nurses who work in Intensive Care Units and analyzed through content analysis, thematic modality. The study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee. Results: The results were the identification of two nuclei of meaning: the phenomenon of consciousness as a guideline for health care promotion and the importance of transdisciplinarity to understand reality. Conclusion: The objective and subjective aspects that make up reality allow the occurrence of the phenomenon of conscious experience that, in turn, is the producer of reality. In addition, the evaluators should be able to identify the elements that are repeated and characterize the phenomenon, in order to provoke actions that promote health care.
