Abstract
This study aimed to verify if the Sociodrama can be used effectively as a pedagogical tool in preparing students for early identification of problems related to its development during the course. The study was conducted at an institution of higher education, federal agency, located in the southern state of Minas Gerais, and was attended by students of the Undergraduate Nursing. The study was divided into two phases. In the first phase was held a preparatory sociodramatic activity to integrate the student activities in fields of practice stage. In the second phase the student attended the practical activities in different health services. Upon completion of the activities students reported that the sociodramatic activity helped them to cope day to day health services. It was also identified that the sociodrama can be a teaching tool for group work problems related to nursing course.
