Abstract
The aim was to highlight the impact perceived by the student conclusive of nursing in relation to this thought / knew when faced with the reality of probation. The method: experience report of Professor mental health curricular supervised an undergraduate degree in nursing in the period from 2009 to 2012 through nondirective interview. Emerged the representations: "fear of the patient," "invalid, aggressive, strangers and even irrational," "we usually talk to them?" "Difficult to see the implementation of psychiatric reform". The students actually stage mental health understands respect to the user in all spheres of care.
