Abstract
Objective: To review available articles in the current literature on the occurrence of gynecological cancer concomitant with pregnancy, and to systematize it as information on the main managements of cervical cancer during the different stages of pregnancy. Methods: Integrative literature review of the last 5 years carried out based on research in the Pubmed database, using the keywords "cervical cancer", "pregnancy" and "treatment". Of the 420 studies available, 16 were selected, according to the predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria, for data analysis. Results: Management depends on several factors, such as gestational age, cancer staging and consent of the pregnant woman based on her wishes about the continuation of the pregnancy. The treatment of the patient can be prioritized or waiting for fetal maturity, with neoadjuvant chemotherapy until the moment of delivery, according to the consensus between the doctor and a patient. Final considerations: Most cervical lesions during pregnancy have a good prognosis, and, for proper clinical management, the treatment of pregnant women must be individualized, taking into account the biopsychosocial and ethical characteristics of each patient.
