Abstract
Objective: To analyze the literature on domestic violence during the Covid-19 pandemic. Bibliographic review: For many women, either increasing isolation or domestic work and/or caring for children, adults and family members, or that increases or stresses exposure to greater vulnerability to violence. Movement is difficult for children or who, together with anxiety and stress due to financial, logistical and existential issues, are capable of causing verbal and physical abuse. Violence against another person is due to their greater vulnerability and dependence on other people, requiring the development of basic activities of daily living, economically or psychologically dependent, especially when it comes to people with cognitive deficits or natural limitations on their own growth. Final considerations: Intrafamily violence has alarming rates and events related to its high incidence are aggravated by the pandemic with gender inequality, unemployment, economic difficulties and a weakened support network. It is important to strengthen support networks such as primary care that is able to attend to people's homes and intervene in situations of violence, as well as awareness campaigns on the subject to increase complaints and reduce occurrences.
