Abstract
Objective: To report the experience of a nursing student working in the vaccination campaign against Covid-19. Experience report: Study of the experience report type, developed from the insertion of a Nursing Course student, from a private university, in the vaccination campaigns against Covid-19, in a municipality in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, in the period from March to June 2021. The performance in the vaccination campaign against Covid-19 showed the student the importance of communication, the involvement of volunteers in these actions, as well as the commitment and social responsibility of students with the population. It can be said that the experience in the vaccination campaign was of paramount importance for personal growth and contributed to the student's professional training. Final considerations: The student's performance highlighted the importance of collective and intersectoral work to advance vaccination in a pandemic moment.
