Abstract
Objective: To analyze the scientific production on telesimulation in health care, with emphasis on nursing. Methods: Integrative review study, based on a research protocol in the Web of Science, Medline/PubMed, SCOPUS, Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) and Latin American and Caribbean Literature on Health Sciences (LILACS), using controlled and uncontrolled descriptors. Included were articles published in the last five years in the languages English, Portuguese and Spanish from any area of knowledge of human health. Results: Ten publications were selected, five produced from the United States of America, two from France, one each from Canada, Saudi Arabia and the Bahamas. Medicine was the predominant health area in the production of the articles. Most of the studies did not have a strong level of evidence. The articles address telesimulation for education of health professionals in rural or remote locations; during the COVID-19 pandemic; and also as an offline computer-based teaching and learning methodology. Final considerations: Scientific production on telesimulation is recent in healthcare. No brazilian studies on the subject were found, not even in the nursing field.
