Abstract
Objective: To analyze in the literature the influence of light-curing techniques on the microhardness of composite resins. Literature review: The intensity level of a light curing system can be measured by the MW system (megawatt). From this, it is possible to evaluate its influence on resins in comparative terms from different points of view: facing light-curing techniques, gradual light, applied light density, wavelength, exposure time and questions about the resin color in relation to the application of the light-curing device. The main narrative approach is about the degree of microhardness and the direct relationship of these composites on enamel over time. Thus, a feasible and personalized treatment plan should be carried out for each patient, respecting their anatomical-aesthetic characteristics, avoiding large resin deposits, paying attention to the calibration of the device and the distance applied, respecting the anatomical limits considered for each case. Final considerations: Studies of the relationship of the light-curing device on composite resins are necessary to dimension the range of dentistry. For, the dental market evolves along with technology, becoming a relevant area and requires literary updates about the influence of photostimulators and polymers and relevant studies on the dental sphere.
