Abstract
Objective: To identify the weaknesses in the records of care for tuberculosis patients in Primary Health Care. Methods: This is an integrative review, with articles published between 2012 and 2022, in any language and with full text available. The guiding question was: What has been published in the national and international literature regarding the weaknesses of TB patient care records in Primary Health Care? The research was carried out in the following databases: Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature (LILACS), Nursing Databases (BDENF), International Health Sciences Literature (MEDLINE), SCOPUS (Elsevier), using the descriptors: Tuberculosis, Records, Nursing records, Medical records. Results: The final sample consisted of 16 articles, which showed the weaknesses found in relation to recording the care of people with tuberculosis. Final considerations: It is understood that the incompleteness of records compromises the management of care for tuberculosis patients, and the underreporting of cases weakens health information about tuberculosis generated from tuberculosis data and favors the spread of the disease.
