Abstract
Objective: To report an oral rehabilitation due to early childhood caries using acetate crowns in upper anterior deciduous teeth. Case Details: Male patient, 4 years old, leucoderma, with upper incisors presenting carious lesions. Imaging exams were performed to achieve better planning in the rehabilitation of the upper deciduous incisors, also used materials such as composite resin and acetate matrices in order to restore function and aesthetics, in addition to providing a better quality of life for the child. Rehabilitation in pediatric dental patients is usually more challenging, however, the literature presents as an alternative the use of acetate crowns with resin restorative material, in order to facilitate the execution of the treatment in pediatric patients. Final considerations: It is considered that the use of prefabricated acetate matrices proved to be efficient, with its easy execution, it allowed to have a shorter clinical time and obtained good aesthetic and functional results.
