Abstract

Objectives: This study aimed to analyze the scientific evidence regarding multiprofessional practice strategies guided by the Social Determinants of Health (SDH) to promote equity in health care. Methods: This is an integrative literature review conducted across six national and international databases, including publications from the last ten years. After applying the eligibility criteria, 13 studies were included in the final sample. Results: The findings showed that the systematic incorporation of SDH into multiprofessional work processes expands access to health services, strengthens bonds with vulnerable populations, and contributes to improved clinical and social outcomes. Collaborative and intersectoral practices were highlighted as key strategies for addressing health inequities. However, challenges remain related to professional training, fragmentation of care, and institutional limitations. Final considerations: It can be considered that multiprofessional practice guided by SDH has significant potential to consolidate equity as a structuring principle in health practices, requiring investments in professional training, service organization, and strengthening of health care networks.
