Currently, CAD/CAM systems can be considered a reliable, practical and aesthetically acceptable alternative for the professional's daily routine. Increasingly, the market has been expanding its indications and applications, making it more and more accessible to more professionals. Its use is no longer widespread now because of the very high implementation costs. Final considerations: It is concluded through the research that the CAD/CAM technology brought several benefits to Dentistry for its several areas, especially the area of dental prostheses.
