Abstract
Objective: Review in the scientific literature the clinical pictures presented by the patients with SEEBG, the propaedeutics for the diagnosis and the treatments reported in the literature. Methods: study selection in the Virtual Health Library databases - VHL (MedLine and LILACS) and National Center for Biotechnology Information - NCBI (PubMed). The searches were performed using a combination of keywords, considering only the last ten years. Results: a total of 2,088 scientific papers were found (articles, theses, dissertations, among others), but with the application of the inclusion and exclusion criteria only 11 scientific papers met the objectives of this study. After analysis and interpretation of the studies it is possible to infer that the symptoms are very characteristic, however the fact that some patients are not symptomatic makes it difficult to perform the early diagnosis and the treatment is chosen considering the patient's clinical condition and the patient's desire to maintain the fertility, however, various treatments such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, hormonal, minimally invasive or invasive surgeries are considered. Conclusion: Because it is a rare disease, it is difficult to determine which treatment is most effective, but studies have stated that the option to remove the tumor should be considered as the main approach and that the other treatments may help avoid relapses.
