Abstract
Objective: To identify studies that address hospital surveillance focused on Covid-19 in health services. Methods: This is an integrative literature review study, organized in: identification of the research problem; literature search by applying inclusion and exclusion criteria; data analysis and review presentation, using the BVS, SCOPUS, PubMed, CINAHL and Web of Science databases. Results: The search ended in 20 studies selected to compose the final sample of the review. After analysis, the results were organized into categories, namely: Data on intra-hospital infections of Covid-19 globally; Screening and testing as a method for early detection; Prevention and control measures; Role of continuing education to protect workers. Final considerations: This review made it possible to analyze and update information regarding hospital surveillance aimed at Covid-19 in health services. Prevention principles conducted in these hospitals should include the implementation of prevention measures focused on early detection through screening and testing, changes in hospital infrastructure, the use of PPE by patients and workers, and measures such as hand hygiene and Social distancing.
